Thames High School
All funds raised goes toward the Athletics teams fundraising. This means they will be our marshalls on the course, helping with the promotion of the event and participating on the day. This year the New Zealand Secondary Schools National Athletics and Road Race Championships are being held in December
This is an amazing chance for our students to compete in a New Zealand Secondary Schools event with over 3500 of the most talented students in New Zealand, which will be a once in a lifetime opportunity for a large number of our team.
We have a group of students who have started training, Our team members enter in a range of track and field events
Attending this championship will give our junior and senior athletes the recognition, motivation and inspiration to continue to achieve into top athletes, and in return these students motivate their peers to train to reach their full potential.
